With tMACH main standwo new products launched, sales made, and an acrylic motorbike proving to be a talking point, it was an all-action MACH for Vero Software.

Vero had two stands at the show – one featuring Alphacam, Edgecam, MCS and VISI; and one featuring Radan. Sales completed on the stands included Edgecam to a Ferrari parts-maker.  Immediately after seeing a demonstration of how Edgecam could produce toolpaths for their clutch housing component, Paul Hill, Managing Director of Hill Engineering Ferrari Parts, finalised the deal.

And on the first day, Phil Gill (pictured below) completed a deal for the Manufacturing Control Solutions (MCS) software.

MACH Phil GillAlphacam General Manager Nick Spurrett says: “MACH was the perfect vehicle for the CNC machining software in the Vero stable to come together, showing the depth and strength we can now offer to all sectors of the manufacturing industry, including production engineering, sheet metal, and mold and die. We were constantly demonstrating how Vero’s state-of-the-art software improves process integration, automation and speed of throughput, optimizing workpiece costs.”

Radan, the world’s most powerful sheet metal CAD/CAM software, launched two new products – Radm-ax, a  5-axis programming system for multi-axis laser and water-jet cutting machines in the general engineering, automotive and aerospace industries; and Radtube, specialist programming software for rotary and multi-axis machines used by the tube cutting and manipulation industry. In addition to the new products, a high level of interest was paid to Radnest - Radan’s automatic true shaped nesting software, giving customers vast improvements to both material utilization and machine efficiency when used with both Radpunch & Radprofile.MACH motorbike

One talking point on the Radan stand was a model of a Harley Davidson motorbike made in acrylic (pictured right). It was produced by AXYZ on their router machines, programd by Radan PanelBuilder, which is the world’s leading machine solution for routing and cutting Aluminum Composite Materials (ACM) for wall panel fabrication, and is distributed worldwide by AXYZ.
